Transfers Came and Went

Sorry that I did not email last week. I didn't see much need to because I had just talked to my parents on the phone the day before P-day.

Transfer news came upon us this past weekend, Elder Lerwill and I were both huddled around our fax machine at 10:47pm to see the news! The fax seemed to be coming out of the machine extremely slowly because of how anxious we were for the news. We found out that neither of us were being transferred which was a great relief because we want to stay and see the Stoneburg family and Erika Bewick baptized on the 28th of May. Something that really ticked us off at first though was that we were loosing one of our wards, which just happened to be the ward that Erika is in. The sister missionaries in the stake will be taking it over and we will be taking over the singles ward that they covered. Neither of us have worked in a singles ward here, but we are excited for it! The ward has become small recently because of all the weddings that are happening, but we both feel really great about the amount of work that CAN happen there. I'll be sure to keep you posted about all of the awesome people that we teach in that new ward. We are sad that we can't keep teaching Erika because we don't cover that ward anymore, but we will be able to go to her baptism in just 2 short weeks.

There were only a few changes in our Zone, we were expecting more changes than what actually took place, but we are really excited for the next few transfers. Here is an outline of what happened in our zone.

E. Derenthal & Dickinson - E. Derenthal is leaving and E. Seymore is coming in.
E. Williams & Brixey - E. Williams is leaving and E. Scott is coming in.
E. Hancey & Shapley - Staying the same
E. Lerwill & Thomas - Staying the same. Loosing Grandview 1st ward, gaining University ward (YSA)
E. Brunt & May - E. Brunt is leaving and E. Rice is coming in.
E. Marco & Scow - E. Scow is leaving and E. Marco will be training a new missionary
S. Nishiguchi & Hartvigsen - Staying the same
S. Rosdahl & Rodio - Staying the same.

We are really excited for all of the new missionaries coming to our zone, and we are going to be baptizing a lot these next six weeks! The Stoneburgs and Erika will be baptized and we full of faith that several others are going to be baptized in June.

The Stoneburgs are progressing well. All five of them are coming to church and have received most of our lessons. Olin (dad) is working on quitting smoking as well as quitting coffee which is amazing to see because he has been addicted for a long time! Everyone else in the family is ready and helping him with these things.

We are being blessed for our efforts! Please keep us in your personal prayers. pray for us to find those who are elect and prepared to receive the gospel. Also please keep the letters coming, they are a HUGE support for me!
