What a magnificent General Conference weekend we have had! The counsel and direction we have received is divinely inspired. I know that Thomas Spencer Monson is a Prophet of God and that he is guiding and encouraging us in the right direction. I also know that it is up to us now to make correct choices and live in such a way to receive the promised blessings. Agency is such a simple principle of the gospel, but can also confuse us if we over examine what we feel is right. May we all understand the simplicity of the messages and counsel we received this weekend and take action, is my prayer.
The Easter Pageant has begun and we had the blessing of attending this past Thursday night! We went with Sarah who is getting baptized on April 6th and she really had a wonderful time. Elder Ronnenberg loved it and was freaking out afterwards because of the magnitude of the event (He does that a lot, it is so funny!) I took about 200 pictures that night and will probably take several hundred more before this week is over. The spirit was strong and I hope that the Easter Pageant causes many to choose Christ in their lives.
We are currently in a 3 missionary companionship. Elder Smellie joined us on Thursday because his companion got transferred a little early and he needed someone to be with. We now cover our 4 wards and his 3.. so 7! We are stretched really thin and are doing all that we can to prepare our investigators for baptism. He has been out for 14 months and we have served around each other for a while now. He is a great missionary and it is a blessing to have his help.
We have 3 baptisms coming up this next week! Robert, Kolt, and Sarah (3 separate services) will be baptized and I am so excited for each of them. Please keep them in your prayers as they prepare for their special days.
